絵を描こう Let’s Paint

 絵だから、

どんな色を使ってもいいし、

何を描いてもいい。

なのに、描けないのは

なぜだ。

常識的な形、

常識的な色、

そこに縛られたまま。

絵を描こう

もっと自由な、

もっと原始的な。

でも、これがまた難しく、遠い。

“Let’s Paint”

Because it’s a painting,

you can use any color,

you can paint anything.

And yet, why is it

so hard to paint?

Conventional shapes,

conventional colors—

still bound by them.

Let’s paint.

More freely,

more primitively.

And yet,

that too feels distant,

and difficult.
