光 Light
“Light”
Painting is not something you learn.
It is something you pour out,
what you have felt.
How you felt.
That is all.
Painting is not something you learn.
If there are 100 people,
there are 100 different ways of feeling.
One in eight billion.
How precious
can you see that one as?
Of course, you don’t have to be like anyone else.
Of course, you don’t have to be recognized by anyone.
How I have felt.
What I have felt throughout my life.
How much
I have put myself down.
It is in the darkness
that light gains its value.
Pour it out
in your own way.
The darkness is there,
and that makes it easier
to feel the light.
Painting is not something you learn.
It is about finding
the light within yourself.
